Finished, a Wood Thrush over open water at night. This is my second attempt at depicting nocturnal migration, the first being The Star Flyers - which was posted almost exactly two years ago. I went with a different look this time, using moonlight reflecting on the water to create balance and space, had a lot of fun with it : )
